Hi! I am a complex, diverse, neurodivergent farm girl from mid-central Illinois. I became a RN in the State of Illinois in 2018 after climbing the clinical ladder, with much of my work within the healthcare industry extending back into my childhood and adolescence during the 80s and 90s. I served through the global pandemic floating between a local major hospital system and a 5-Star nursing home in central Illinois while also teaching and beginning my graduate nursing studies. I left nursing and graduate school after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2022. I have been cancer-free for over two years now following a left breast mastectomy. Since that time I have been focused on my therapy and positioning myself as a nurse entrepreneur and philanthropist. I am a trauma-informed advocate and activist through personal lived experiences, too numerous to mention. My experiences have made me a survivor and warrior for social justice reform within the juvenile justice system.
