I became a first time mother of a son in 2001. While many say it's the greatest experience, I didn't feel that way. I struggled with Post Partum Depression and had to be hospitalized. From that point on, I struggled with anxiety and depression. With mostly medication, I managed motherhood. I finally found my zone and learned how to enjoy being a mom. I then had my second child , a girl, in 2003. My daughter and son became my life. I enjoyed making crafts, and making cookies and reading with them. As they grew, I enjoyed going on bike rides with them. I was a full time Mom from 2001-2022. I also was their homeschool teacher for kindergarten through 12th grade. Homeschooling was both rewarding but also had its challenges. Since 2022, after my daughter completed 12 grade, I haven't had an easy time adjusting to not being a full time Mom.
