MY STORY
I was raised in an unstable household. My parents divorced, and this began years of emotional and mental abuse from my mother. I realized when I was much older that a lot of what I thought was normal growing up was, in fact, highly abusive behavior. A healthy relationship was not possible. My mother's behavior stems from her own past abuse at the hands of parents and partners, but instead of passing that on, I chose to stop that pattern. I can share the things that have helped me in this situation, and offer you support and encouragement.
