I'm a 39-year-old breast cancer survivor, social worker, and nonprofit consultant. I was diagnosed with breast cancer just one year into launching my own business—despite having no family history of the disease. Facing that challenge so early in my entrepreneurial journey was life-altering, but I was incredibly fortunate to be held by the love, generosity, and care of my family, friends, and community. Today, I channel that resilience and perspective into helping nonprofit leaders and organizations build more inclusive, values-driven programs and spaces. I'm also a proud dog and cat mom, and share my life with a wonderful partner.
