Navigating life after a traumatic injury? There’s no custom book written for each person’s journey or how to cope. We all want to be heard, that’s why I’m here.
They say, “If you’re not laughing, you’re crying.” I like to laugh and sometimes that’s hard to do in life. I broke my back in a motor vehicle accident and had to learn to walk again. I struggle with bladder and bowel nerve damage, and some paralysis to this day. I’ve struggled with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and the pressures that puts on relationships. I know what it feels like to feel embarrassed of who you are in a season of your life. I’m happy to be vulnerable and share but sometimes it’s just better to listen. Either way let’s try to find a way to laugh and learn to cope in a healthy way.
