I am a queer person who has gone through many trials because of my mental illness. I studied psychology in college and my diagnosis disrupted that. Even though I graduated, I struggled with alcohol, psychedelics, and failed/casual/abusive relationships. I'm now happily married and sober. Taking my medication was a big thing, but finding my husband really gave me a new lease on life. Having a reason to live was probably the biggest motivation to stop smoking, no drinking, so I could be my best self for my relationship. I can help with dealing with loneliness and hopelessness, refocusing. I can give perspective on toxic partnerships. I can help develop confidence in opening up and communicating with your partner.
