As a retired Mental Health Professional, I dedicated my career to supporting parents through the challenges of raising children. My own experiences as a parent and grandparent—navigating the ups and downs of raising a Special Education student and a child with ADHD—have shaped my understanding and deepened my empathy. I always strived to ""practice what I preach,"" knowing firsthand that no child or family is perfect. Losing my part-time role to budget cuts was a difficult transition, but I’ve found fulfillment in staying active and connected with good friends. I remain passionate about helping others and drawing on the thousands of conversations I’ve had with parents to offer insight and encouragement. Parenthood is never easy, but I believe growth and connection are always possible.
