Hi, I’m Jamie, a certified peer support specialist with lived experience in mental health and recovery. My struggles with anxiety and depression began early but hit hardest in my 30s, leading me to self-admit into a behavioral health facility where I learned how to manage life with medication, therapy, and healthy coping skills. For a long time, I used alcohol to numb the pain, and I’ve survived three suicide attempts—times I never imagined I’d find real happiness. But today, I’m truly happy and grounded, and I want to support others who feel like they’ll never get there. Wellness is a huge part of my life—I’ve been in the gym since I was a teen, became a bodybuilder in 2017, and prioritize clean eating and supplements. I know what it’s like to feel lost, and I’m here to remind you there’s a way through.
