With a strong background in peer support, I offer compassionate, empathetic guidance to those navigating life’s challenges. My experience includes supporting individuals with alcohol use, relationship issues, and parenting, particularly for mothers and fathers, including those who breastfeed (having learned a great deal from my wife, who works in breastfeeding). After working with Detroit Animal Control, I was diagnosed with PTSD and a panic disorder, which led to struggles with alcohol, custody issues, and child support. I made the difficult decision to leave my job, persist with therapy (even after switching therapists three times), and ultimately became a stay-at-home dad while co-parenting with my two oldest children's mothers. Through finding the right support, I stopped drinking and smoking on December 18, 2020, and haven't looked back since. Let’s work together to overcome challenges and recover.
